The XIX National Congress of Doctors in Agronomy and Forestry has concluded in Rome. The Assembly of Presidents approved the Rome Charter (Carta di Roma), a policy document that sets the course for the profession for the coming years and translates the responsibility of caring for natural capital, production systems, and territories into operational commitments.
The document is a platform of principles and actions that enhances the agronomic and forestry culture as a synthesis of scientific and technical expertise, with a strong focus on training, quality practices, equal opportunities, and inclusive language, calling the professional community to an active role in soil regeneration and the conscious use of primary resources.
