On Tuesday, March 10, a “Green Agorà” event titled “The Culture of Greenery: Greenery in Culture; Landscape Protection, Preservation of Green Spaces, and Environmental Sustainability” took place at the San Giorgio Library in Pistoia, coinciding with Pistoia’s year as the Capital of the Book.

The meeting explored the link between the environment and literature, and included the presentation of the literary contest “Plants Will Save Us.” Created by Greenitaly in collaboration with the publishing house Leggere:tutti, the contest’s awards ceremony is scheduled to take place during Greenitaly 2026.
