In early December, the new Scientific Technical Committee (CTS) of the Fondazione Minoprio ITS Academy was officially inaugurated. This body is tasked with guiding and directing the future educational, scientific, and research activities of the Foundation.

The meeting took place at the Viale Raimondi headquarters and was attended by the Committee Chairman, Prof. Mario Colombo (who is also a Board Member of FM), along with CTS members from the academic, scientific, and professional sectors: Prof. N. Cannone (Uninsubria), Chef R. Carcangiu, Dr. M. Ferrarini (entrepreneur), Prof. N. Fumagalli (Unimi), Prof. C. Jucker (Unimi), Dr. L. Odello (Centro Studi Assaggiatori), Prof. I. Perego (agronomist), Dr. G. Rappo (entrepreneur), Prof. P. Roversi (Crea), and Prof.ssa A. Simonetto (Unibs).

Representing the Fondazione Minoprio were also President Dr. Elias Bordoli and Director General Dr. Mario Burattino, as well as Board Members Prof. Claudia Sorlini and Prof. Guido Sali.

During the meeting, several key themes were presented: – The history and role of Fondazione Minoprio at both national and international levels. – Research past and present, and future perspectives. – Contributions and visions from the committees to strengthen the link between training, innovation, and the labor market.

Numerous proposals and ideas were put forward for future development, including: thematic events, seminars on the 4.0 Agenda aimed at agricultural entrepreneurship, the experimental use of artificial intelligence, and the Extension Service function for the dissemination of new agricultural technologies.

The new CTS thus represents a decisive step toward consolidating the mission of Fondazione Minoprio: training expertise, generating quality research, and building an increasingly effective bridge between education and the production system.
