The “Parco Agrisolare” Facility Reopens: New Funding for Agricultural Solar Energy

The Ministry of Agriculture is reopening the “Parco Agrisolare” Facility, a measure funded by the NRRP (PNRR). This initiative is designed for agricultural and agro-industrial enterprises looking to install photovoltaic systems exclusively on the rooftops of existing functional buildings.

Key Dates and Application Process

  • Opening: The application portal will open at 12:00 PM on March 10, 2026.
  • Closing: The window will close at 12:00 PM on April 9, 2026, unless funds are exhausted sooner.
  • Submission: Applications must be submitted exclusively through the GSE portal.
  • Selection: This is a “first-come, first-served” procedure; requests will be processed in chronological order until the available funds are depleted.

Eligible Interventions

The call for tenders supports the following activities:

  • Rooftop Solar: Installation of photovoltaic systems on the roofs of stables, warehouses, sheds, and production structures.
  • Complementary Systems: Installation of energy storage systems and charging stations for electric company vehicles.
  • Building Improvements: Asbestos removal, roof reconstruction, and thermal insulation of rooftops.

Important Note: Ground-mounted systems are not eligible for funding.

The Objective

The goal of the measure is clear: to produce renewable energy while ensuring zero consumption of agricultural soil.
