Managing public green spaces means enhancing an asset of profound social, ecological, and economic value. In the face of the climate crisis, there is an urgent need to define concrete strategies to ensure resilient and livable cities.
Created through the synergy between Fiere di Parma and the Associazione Italiana Direttori e Tecnici Pubblici Giardini (Italian Association of Public Parks Directors and Technicians), this study day promotes direct dialogue among public administrations to outline the future prospects of the sector, in line with Article 9 of the Italian Constitution.
Guided by internationally renowned agronomist Giovanni Morelli, who will integrate the novel “plants’ point of view” into the analysis, the speakers will address key sector issues: climate impact, financial resources, Green Space Plans, service procurement, and training.
Featured Case Studies and Best Practices: Milan, Turin, Parma, Siena, Cesenatico, and the Province of Mantua.
