This year’s title for Orticolario is “en rêverie”, exploring a new dimension: that of dreams, illusions, and fantasy. No longer just the desire to discover, but the power to create, to shape in one’s mind what does not yet exist, giving form to infinite possible scenarios.
At the heart of this surreal dimension are fantastic plants—botanical species that, through their unique shapes, colors, or distinctive characteristics, seem to come from another world. Often a source of inspiration for different worlds that intertwine in every edition of Orticolario, creating a collective narrative that celebrates the rich versatility of disciplines, sensitivities, and languages: from sight to taste, from introspection to design, from contemplation to experience.
Orticolario will take place from October 1 to 4 at Villa Erba, Lake Como.
