The “Growing in ANVE” seminar series is back for 2025. This technical training initiative was created to offer practical tools to professionals in the ornamental plant sector, supporting them in the day-to-day management of their operations.
The 2025 edition, organized by ANVE in collaboration with AIPP (Italian Association for Plant Protection), features five free online sessions focused on agronomic best practices. Each session benefits from the direct input of nursery professionals and experts from the Regional Plant Protection Services (SFR).
Each webinar lasts 90 minutes and delivers high-level technical content, with two main components:
- A deep dive into specific agronomic topics presented by sector professionals
- A focus on pest monitoring and management
Here is the full schedule:
- June 26 – Deciduous Trees: Techniques for rootball and container propagation, digging, repotting, packing, and transport. Overview of the most common varieties, both free-form and shaped.
- July 3 – Evergreen Trees: Agronomic management and propagation of evergreen species for urban landscaping. Special attention to quality, commercial trends, and logistics.
- July 10 – Mediterranean Plants: Cultivation techniques for Mediterranean shrubs and flowering plants suited to warm climates, with a focus on irrigation strategies.
- July 17 – Acid-Loving Plants: Agronomic management and plant health care of acidophilic species, presented by specialized growers.
- July 24 – Aromatic, Perennial, and Ornamental Grasses: Cultivation and market enhancement of low-maintenance, high-ornamental-value species, increasingly used in both public and private landscaping.
